Setting up pricing

Correctly setting up pricing is crucial for your trip's success. The system allows for flexible pricing models to accommodate different travelers.

Base pricing

Adult price

This is the standard price for one adult traveler. It is a required field for every trip.

Child price

You can offer a discounted rate for children.

1. Toggle Different price for children to ON.
2. Child price: enter the cost for a child.
3. Maximum age for child price: specify the maximum age to qualify for this price (e.g., 12 years old). Anyone older will be charged the adult rate.

Reservation fees

Instead of requiring full payment upfront, you can set a reservation fee (deposit).

• Adult reservation fee: amount an adult must pay to secure a spot.
• Child reservation fee: amount required to secure a child's spot.

This fee allows clients to book their place immediately while paying the remaining balance later.

Group pricing

You can also set up tiered pricing for large groups. See Group pricing for more details.

Cancellation fees

You can set a cancellation fee to recover some of the costs if a client cancels their reservation.

• Adult cancellation fee: amount deducted from an adult's refund.
• Child cancellation fee: amount deducted from a child's refund.

If a user cancels their reservation, they are immediately refunded the amount they paid minus the cancellation fee, which you retain. Clients are not refunded if cancellations are not allowed.
