Tracking and recording payments for reservations
Keeping track of who has paid is essential. The admin dashboard allows you to record manual payments and view details of online transactions.
Recording a payment
When a client pays you directly, or you issue a refund, you need to log it manually:
Open the Reservation details sheet by clicking on a reservation in the Reservations table.
Click on the Options button.
Click New payment.
Enter the payment amount.
Select the payment type (Paid or Refunded).
Click the Save button.
The reservation status will automatically update (e.g., from Payment pending to Payment complete).
Viewing payment history
Each reservation has a Payments section showing every transaction:
- Date & time
- Amount
- Status (pending, paid, refunded, etc.)
- Type (card, cash, bank transfer, etc.)
