Removing unwanted or expired promotions
If a promotion is no longer needed or was created in error, you can delete it from the system.
How to delete
Navigate to the Discount Codes list.
open the Discount code options menu in the row.
Click on the Delete button.
Confirm the action in the pop-up dialog.
Impact of deletion
- Existing bookings: reservations that were made using the deleted code remain unaffected. The discount is preserved for those past orders.
- Reporting: historical data regarding the usage of the deleted code is preserved for your reports.
Irreversible action
Once a code is deleted, it cannot be restored. Clients will no longer be able to use this code at checkout.
Alternatives to deletion
If you want to temporarily pause a promotion or end it early without deleting the record, consider:
- Setting the expiration date to the past: this immediately invalidates the code while keeping it in your list for reference.
- Setting the usage limit to 0: this also prevents any further use.
