Linking permissions to team members

Assigning roles

Every employee must have exactly one role. This role defines their entire set of permissions.

When creating an employee

You select a role during the employee creation process. This is a mandatory step.

Changing an employee's role

If an employee is promoted or changes departments, you can reassign their role:

From the Employees list, click on the row of the employee you want to edit.

Click on the Edit button at the top right of the page.

Select a new Role from the select field.

Click the Save employee button to update the role.

The employee will immediately inherit all permissions associated with the new role and lose the permissions of the old one.
